HOMECOMING TRAGEDY IN CAMERON

Funeral services for Bailey Zimmerman are scheduled for Tuesday. The State Patrol is still investigating the accident that killed the 17-year-old senior at Cameron High School. Two students fell out of the back of a pick-up truck after Cameron's homecoming parade Friday. Barron County Sheriff's Deputies say 17-year-old Matthew Stoyke was driving the pick-up. They say Stoyke was turning into the school's parking lot, when Bailey Zimmerman and Jasmyn Becker fell out of the back of the truck. Zimmerman was killed in the accident. Becker was taken to the hospital. No citations or charges have been issued. Funeral services for Zimmerman will be Tuesday at Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Cameron. A mass in her honor starts at 11 a.m. Jasmyn Becker's condition has been upgraded and she has been moved out of the intensive care unit at Luther Hospital.
